Love at first sight

Joseph didn’t believe in   “ love at first sight .”   He thought you had to know a person to fall in love with them. How could you fall in love with someone you had just met? But that was before he met Anna. It was raining cats and dogs that day, and Joseph had been drenched to the skin on the short walk from the taxi to the entrance of his office block. Anna was in a similar condition. As she ran to get out of the rain, they collided in the doorway. Her bag fell to the floor, and its contents spilled out. Joseph immediately apologized and bent down to help her pick up her things. When he handed her the file and make-up bag, he looked up at her and felt his world shift. Her hair was the color of spun gold, and her eyes were blue. He had never seen a lady more beautiful than her. Joseph didn’t know her name yet, but he knew she was the perfect woman for him. And thus, a beautiful journey of friendship and love started on a rainy day. Save

JOKES OF THE DAY

1. A little girl came home from school and said to her mother, “Mommy, today in school I was punished for something that I didn’t do.” The mother exclaimed, “But that’s terrible! I’m going to have a talk with your teacher about this … by the way, what was it that you didn’t do?” The little girl replied, “My homework.” 2. The students were lined up in the cafeteria for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: “Take only ONE. God is watching.” Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, “Take all you want. God is watching the apples.” 3. Teacher: “Why are you late, Joseph?” Joseph: “Because of a sign board on the road.” Teacher: “What does a sign have to do with you being late?” Joseph: “The sign said, ‘School Ahead, Go Slow!'” 4. Teacher: “Here is a math problem. If your dad earned $300 dollars a week
Joe asked God, "How much is a penny worth in heaven?" God replied, "$1 million." Joe asked, "How long is a minute in heaven?" God said, "One million years." Joe asked for a penny. God said, "Sure, in a minute."

Scientifically, The Best Ways To Prepare For Final Exams

Finals week can be a stressful time for all students–I know it is for me. So, knowing how to properly prepare for finals is the key to avoiding stress and acing every single one of your exams. Of course, all students would love to relax by  receiving massages  or by  the healing power of dogs  before finals (I sure would!). But, we all know this isn’t really possible. There needs to be a uniform way to assess our performance as students and it has to happen at some point (hence, “finals”). So how else can we lower stress and know that we’re on the right track to excel in each course? Well, here are some  proven  methods that will have you focused and better prepared for final exams. 1. Say NO to cramming:  Study in intervals! Studying in 20-50 minute increments and giving yourself 5-10 minutes in between is more beneficial than cramming.  Distributing learning over time typically  benefits long-term retention  more than a short period. 2. Say YES to cardio:  Science says that

Arsene Wenger ‘will not read’ book about Jose Mourinho

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he “certainly will not read” a book in which Manchester United counterpart Jose Mourinho is quoted as saying he would break the Frenchman’s face. Mourinho regularly clashed with Wenger while managing Chelsea, once describing him as a “specialist in failure”. “I talk about football – that’s all I do,” said Wenger, 66, on Friday. “I’m not in a destructive mode, never. I’m more constructive. I am focused on Saturday’s game against Chelsea.” Mourinho, 53, described Wenger as a “voyeur” in 2005, after his rival questioned Chelsea’s transfer policy. The Portuguese referred to Wenger as a “specialist in failure” in February 2014 after the Frenchman said other Premier League managers were playing down their title chances because they “fear to fail”. In the aftermath, Mourinho is quoted – in a book serialised in the Daily Mail – as saying: “I will find him one day outside a football pitch and I will break his face.” Wenger, who apologised for pushing Mourinho
